just installed my cupholder

I got tired of driving around with no cup holder, so i went out to the junkyard picked this up for a couple bucks. let me know what u think.

Cupholder

Finally 7-11 thermas on it.

Notes: Fits pretty good. need to be trimmed in the rear and the sides of the cupholder. Will not fit on the bottom of the double din cause it will hit/interfer with the shifter. the Oem shift **** rubs slightly when shifted into 3rd gear.

Doesnt look right.

Get a regular 3 dollar door cup holder.

Why install a permanant one? Unless you constantly road trip your car for long distances.

Nice!

I think this came from a Honda? They are big into cup holders.

This.

There was only one time a LONNGGG time ago where i really needed that cupholder.

I remember i had to go to dunkin donuts for my dad cause he was sick and wanted coffee and i was going to take the FD out for a drive and my other car was blocked by my dads truck which i didnt want to drive so i took the FD.

It sucks having to shift and hold 2 cups of coffee in place on the passenger seat driving in the city. lol

Other than that, i never needed it. I drink mostly drinks with caps on it. Snapple, gatorade, water. So i dont need a cupholder.

cupholders came out of a old taurus, not sure which year but you could probably order them on ebay or something.

If you switched the cup and the coin it might work. Good odds with a short shifter, shorter aftermarket ****. The lack of cupholder is definitely one of my biggest dislikes about the FD.

Hmmm... I think the engineers didn't put cup holders in FD for a reason. But if it's a must for you then very nice.

My wife would love me if I did this mod. My FD is our "date" car. She always complains about not having a cup holder after we go to the movies and get a shake.

They didn't do a lot of things for a reason...somehow most of us manage to change almost every aspect of this car...a cupholder is nothing compared to what people have done to their cars.
