Just did Vac Job, AFter Warmup Car will Stall at if let to IDLE.

Alright just did a vacuum hose job.

When I let my car idle, it will eventually bog down and stall.

I have to heel/toe it to keep it from dropping below 700 otherwise it will stall. I do not know which specific vac lines would screw up the idle. My TPS connector is plugged in, map sensor is fine, etc.

I can rev normally and whatnot, and it has the idle problem with the AC off or on, it doesn't make a difference.

Any clues where to start with this one?

I've checked the other threads, and it's not an AC problem, and as far as the clutch switch is concern, it's not a sudden stall.. it drops slowly from 700, 650, 600, 550, etc. and then just dies... if it were my clutch switch, I'm sure the stall would be a lot quicker.

This is a slow bogging down process.

Have you checked the throttle stop set-screw? Maybe you just need to turn it in a little bit. Maybe the slow decrease in idle speed is due to the dashpot combined with a misadjusted throttle stop screw.

Throttle stop screw? You mean the idle adjust screw?
It is where it should be.... I have it marked with white paint.

There are two screws. There is an air screw under the plastic elbow in the TB, and there is a throttle stop screw near where the throttle cable attaches. If you fixed a vacuum leak or something when you had everything apart, you may have to readjust them.

I adjusted the screw under the TB, and I got it where I wanted it... seems that was the problem. Working fine now.

Thanks paw =)
