Just Bought 93 Fd!!!

From Some Car Dealership In Orange County, Cali. 13,000, Red With 96k Miles. Runs Excellent, Just Wanna Know Some Minor Things To Watch Out For. Im Gonna Change The Downpipe And Midpipe As Soon As I Get It. By The Way, N E One Wanna Sell Air Conditi0ning *****. Thanx.

Installing a midpipe is not wise unless you upgrade the ECU first.

Yeah dude, dont touch the mid pipe. Vacuum hose replacement is also a good idea. As well as a boost guage. Maintenance wise. I would replace the spark plugs, pcv valve, fuel filter and put some redline in the transmission.

Wut Do You Mean Blow My Engine???
A Couple Of Peaple With Fd's Have Told Me To Replace That First, Along With The Ecu. But My Best Friend Did That, And His Is Running Perfect.

read the FAQ's and do A LOT of research before you do anything!!!!!!!

run a search of "reliability mods" and you'll get plenty of hits. and yes, you should do the reliability mods first. and no, you do NOT want to change out your midpipe yet. a PowerFC isn't gonna save your engine when all that boost hits because you have a cat-less mid-pipe.

btw, if you rush into things and jack up your car, you won't be getting any simpathy from anyone. people have put up a lot of time and effort helping others get educated on how they should/shouldn't mod their RX7. not trying to be rude, just giving you a head's-up.

i have a dp, mp and open intake (greddy airinx) and my boost sits at 10-11 and drops to 8 then back to 10-11 with stock ecu
