jcwhitney carpet

Has anyone ever tried the interior carpet from jcwhitney for the 3rd gen? How did it fit, how was the quality? I searched but only came across first gen owners using it.

I helped a friend re-carpet his 2nd gen. Don't know where he got the carpet, but it wasn't factory. It fit like crap, and was a royal PITA to install. I suggest you get the factory carpet if you can find it.

There was agroup buy a while ago to get a carpet company to produce a mold of our carpet. The group buy fell through because of the complexity and cost of trying mold out floor pans, the foam and the plastic that lies under the carpet. Nobody except Mazda has the carpet, sad to say.

I think I got mine from a place called www.autoanything.com. The "plush" grade in the "saddle" color was a better match and better quality than the original. No RX7 logo, but other than that, perfect! I just looked and I think they are $138 for the set.

He's talking about the entire interior carpet. Are you talking about floormats?
