Smile It's moments like this........

......that make you love your car all over again!
I took a co-worker to lunch the other day. Usually we take his Jeep, but I had driven the FD after having had it sit in the garage for a week due to bad weather, so I said, "Let's take my car" as I was itching to drive it.
On the way back to work (open highway, no traffic, rural area) I opened her up. At 120 mph my friend says, "Wow, this is a rocket ship!". At 150 mph my friend is saying, "Holy ******* SHITTTTTTTTTT!"

I saw him on his computer later, searching for a used FD!

ah.. I must say, you can find out what type of girl you have on a first date real quick......
Type A: Loves it and it shows
Type B: Bitches at you in a fearful frenzy
Type C: Sits quietly w/ sweaty palms

I vote for type C because I don't have to hear complaining and she won't want to drive my car

This is horrible, but ....... My ex was sitting next to me complaining about something and I was just kinda playing swerving back n' forth just checkin out the body roll and I hit a hard right followed by a quick left... ne wayz, her head hit the passengers side window pretty hard. Lesson learned, make sure your passengers are sitting back in their seats!! Don't worry, that's not why she's my ex......

I don't like Type C girls. It means they may be planning your death during that moment of silence!

Hey guys, don't forget........showing off a 60-0mph stop is always interesting, too

i had a day like that yesterday,

i was following a group of cars and got stuck behind at a light, so i was trying to catch up cause i threw my phone somewhere in my car and couldn't find it, and i didn't want to pull over

and there was a WRX behind me, and when we got there, he said, "dude you are insane, i was going 125 and you were pulling away from me"

god i love my car

There's always the times when you let someone else drive your car with you as passenger and you **** on your own seats.

But the last time i let Crashy-poo drive my car, I nearly strangled him.

I have to relate my story now.

This happened years ago.

A friend bought a brand new 3000GT VR4. He was boasting how great of a sports car it was and how it handled like no other.

Curious, I asked him for a ride in his car. After he gave me a fast drive through the winding back roads, I offered to give him a ride in my stock R1 to show him what a real sports car is all about.

I drove the same set of roads but but at about twice the speed. My friend, who is a big macho Italian, was reduced to holding onto the dash begging me to "Please! Slow down."

The sight of him with his pants scared off was priceless.

I love giving my friends a ride home after they have been drinking, I once made my friend throw up after riding in my car. We were at a wedding and he had a couple of drinks, so we were going to the after party and as soon as he got out of my car he started puking good thing it wasn't in my car or I would have been pretty pissed. Good Times!

This isn't quite the same thing, but I met my parents and 2 good friends (both with FDs) at Virginia Inter. Raceway at the end of march. This was right after the car dynoed at 368. On a local highway, my dad was driving my fd, and I was riding in my buddy's modded 94 base. Of course my dad started instigating a race, and pulled on us pretty hard at triple digit speeds. My buddy was pissed off and saying "That car's ******' fast! too goddam fast!" and he was rocking forward and back in the driver's seat while flooring it in fourth gear to try and make his 7 go a little faster

The wheels are NZO which is an exclusive line from a Mike @ AK tires. He is on the forum somewhere, but I'm not sure of his username..

Ok my story time.

I took a friend for a ride around town. We got the beginning of a long twisty road that i happen to know very well. Well the road leading to it is a long straight with a sharp left hand turn leading into the twistys. So i slow down to enter the "fun ones" and punch it around the corner sliding my rear end out and my friend goes to grab the handle on the top of the passenger side window (too bad there is no bar there) and says "holy **** Danny, stop, stop!! DANNY!!" lol!! I was laughing my *** off for the remainder of the ride. I always tease him about it to this day.

Well, I guess I will tell you another story This is actually a pretty sucky role reversal! One night I decided to get plastered beyond all ability to drive. So in my state of good judgement I told a friend he could drive my baby if he could get me home safely...... Well, in a drunken stooper I foolishly told him about how I had drifted a lightly banked 90 degree corner @ ~ 60..... Well, this corner just happened to be on the way home and I encouraged him to take it(not drift but just w/ some speed).... He enters the corner @ ~ 45 and then guns it once hes 95% out of it.... This is where I realized I was scared shi*less. The rear end kicked right out and slid backwards over a nice sized granite curb. Thank god we missed the phone pole that was only 3 feet to the passangers side...... Needless to say I required new rims tires and an alignment..... Friends don't let friends drive drunk!!
