9's all around. I Like the new smooth idle... even when the engine is cold. And easy starts. Overall a
better plug.

enjoy your new plugs... jc.

I've been wanting to try those

I was told 9 & 10.5 (but there is only 10 or 11) by the RX7 store.

Jon at Ziel told me the RX-7's love to eat spark plugs and in Japan they change them every 8k km, so that's what 5k mi?

I wonder how many miles the Iridium plugs are good for? Can you guys post how long they lasted you?

Unhappy Their not cheap!

But the rx7 store has them cheaper than getting direct from HKS. There areother brands of iriddium plugs but I don't know where to get them. ($29/ea)

I am in Japan, and the plugs are alot cheaper. Around 3100 yen or 23 dollars, depending on the yen rate. I can get as many as you need from the local speed shop. I currently have the 4 10's in and haven't seen any problems. My mods are Full Amamiya exhaust and downpipe, Amamiya computer, 1.0-1.1 bar, 3 core intercoler stock location, Amamiya intake.

I just read this - unless I'm mistaken, here at Canadian Tire, they're like $15/each Canadian...I'll double check that though...

I like the fact that people are lazy enough to post search, but the fact is that there is no info on the part number for iridium plugs, I did find the part number for platinum though. I see this often...if you're lazy enough to post search, why don't you just post the relevant info and save everyone a headache, especially if you know the post number or have the info, otherwise don't bother posting anything...this is not only an annoyance for the person looking for info, but also anyone that ACTUALLY searches for this info in the future...(jspec - this is not intended for your joke) and sexxy7, this isn't directed at you, just people in general...

BUMMER... HKS was doing a special last month... If you buy a box of 8 or 10, they would give me an extra 10% off the normal 10%.. I thought everyone was all into NGK so I didnt bother getting any and advertising.. BUMMER, sorry guys...

ToddP31, Where in Japan are you..? If your in Yokohama let look up, I get those spark plus for 2900
yen, not much difference but a buck is a buck...

Aww Daemon...don't have a cow bro. That's my signature you're looking at. I though that it was funny that sexxy7 wrote search, so I'd use my signature(for the first time!)

On a spark plug note. I have seen no evidence that running the iridum plug yields more HP or lasts longer. I've always been a firm believer of running BUR9EQ's in all 4 slots all the time. Even if they were to yield more HP, it wouldn't be for long. They would eventually get carboned up and yield the same spark as stock ones.

I was in Arizona last year for six weeks...106 degree days...Real hot, but not even close to the Okinawa heat. We're only like 95 Fahrenheit, but with the Humidity being like it is in Florida...it takes a little getting used to...

Part #s

I have been testing most of the different plugs and haven't been too happy with the Iridium plugs for the price. FWIW my testing is on my site along with part numbers. Last I checked NGK hasn't released their Iridium plugs for the 7. BTW I recently found out the HKS Iridium plugs are made by Denso. I think I'll be testing standard, non-platinum NGK plugs next.

For all you guys in Japan

How often do you change your plugs?

Why do you use the same for leading and trailing?
(I thought the trailing had to be colder?)
