Question Interest in SSM/BB/CYM-painted R1 front strut tower bars

I have slowly accumulated a few R1 bars and am considering having them repainted CYM, if there is enough demand. Years ago, I had a few bars painted Brilliant Black and there was quite a lot of interest in the couple that I had available.

I know there aren't many CYMs out there, is there interest in Silverstone or Brilliant Black? I would only be getting the bars painted one color.

I'd go with a CYM one to put on my Montego Blue Mica car, since I have some other yellow accents in the engine bay.
In my opinion, the CYM verson would go well with every FD color, with the possible exception of silver. It would contrast excellently with BB and MB, match CYM, and look decent with VR, and it might look cool with SSM.

I totally agree. I drive an CYM and CYM color strut bars on any color FD is weird. IMO, the only colors (strut bar, calipers, couplers, tubes, etc) that work with CYM-bodied FDs are red and black.

I got a bunch coming in...(I had several requests).

Rich, if you're only gonna be making them one color, BB is prob the best option IMO. It'll go well w/ every colored FD. CYM certainly will NOT. While I'd be interested in seeing SSM, dunno how popular it would be.

Scroll down to the "Mazda" category. Approx. $315 plus shipping.

Just not sure if this is a reliable importer......

And I'd go black if I were to change the color.

What? No one else thinks a yellow strut tower bar would look cool on a Montego Blue car, then? Or on a BB car? I happen to LIKE seeing contrasting colors....I must be one of the few....lol!

$250 to $300 each. A lot depends on the cost of painting, and if people want the bar ends polished or not.

I actually have a red one that has a fresh paint job on it. I planned to use it on my car, but I may be persuaded to sell it. Shoot me a PM if interested.

It looks like BB is the most popular choice, based on the PMs I have received. I may be able to split it up and do half silverstone and half brilliant black if there is interest....
