I enjoy reading this thread!

I have never realized in what it would $cost$ to give another 100 whp to my stock FD I mean from 200 to 300 whp. And to do it right.
Is there a cheap way to get it to 300 whp?

I haven't driven my 7 in about three weeks, due to being back in the states on vacation, though I don't remember any great increase in lag...
I'm running my BNRs in sequential and I still see max primary boost at about 2k-2.5k.. on my lower boost setting I'm running 12 psi on primary/secondary turbo's, on my higher setting I'm running 12/16psi on primary/secondary turbo's..
I'm not suggesting you run BNR's hatemy7. It would cost MUCH more for you to hit the levels you want on twins (if it's even possible, I believe it is.. it's just not really been done yet) than it would on a quality single. I'm just a massive fan of the sequential system and have (a little) experience with the BNR's, so I'll add my two cents on what I've got experience with. I'm only adding my imput in this thread because the support systems to run the BNR's at high power are very similar (if not identical) to what you will need on a high power single setup.
Being thorough in your supporting mods will make or break your reliability at high horsepower, this stays true whether you've got one snail under the hood or two.

Do all the reliability mods, than add in your standard bolt-ons (DP/hi-flow cat/CB, Intake, IC, ECU, Ignition Amp) and a good tune and you should be able to push right around 300whp. You might want to also go ahead and get a better/rewired fuel pump and a FPR so you don't need to worry about overdoing your fuel system though..
Boost + Fuel + Cooling = power.
Before I got my PFC tuned the first time I made 247whp @ .8 bar (on a Dyno Dynamics dyno, it reads 15%-18% lower than American dyno's, so it was comparable to 284whp - 291whp) after my first tune to .85bar (12psi) I made 280whp (322whp - 330whp) at the top end of what my (stock) fuel system could handle..
At that point I had spent (off the top of my head) about 5 grand on the mods, most all of the reliability mods had already been performed when I purchased my FD.

Unfortunately I don't know...
I'd say get on a dyno to really find out. What boost are you running? Do you still have your stock ECU? I would suggest getting a bigger/better radiator, an aftermarket ECU, a larger SMIC and a tune. Just based off what you have right now I'd guess (don't quote me on this!) somewhere in the range of 240-250 whp.
As an aside, you can always check on some of the merchant websites (rx7store.net, rx7.com, etc) which have staged power upgrades and see where you match compared to what they have, based off your current mods.

Obviously spoken by somebody who has never driven them.My BNRs are set up sequentially and my experience matches fendamonkey's.A very driveable package for a road car,but of course they don't make 500rwhp.I can get into lots of trouble on the road with what I have.

Wow, look at what I stated , I am not bashing on BNR turbos, and I have driven them and I did not like em, I am not saying that they suck or anything like that, it is just my personal opinion. so relax.

^ that doesnt sound like a bad Idea.
and this is what I am talking about turbo lag
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFc3TVgBmMI
TII built engine with a BNR turbo ( not sure what size but you can see what I am talking about)
it took for ever to build its power and spool. by the time it picked up the race was over.
the car is fast but spool took forever

brake boost.
I can built 20 psi of boost before the race even starts and i'll jump right out in front. Sometimes, in lower gears it'll just start smoking the rear tires, but then you just have to let up on the brake and build a little less.

Well I am going to start building my motor and I am going to be doing a lot of freeway runs and some DIG runs ( I am sure) but I really want a very fast spool from my turbo or turbos, at the same time I would like to make between 450-500hp.
Wich would be best? single or twin turbos
should I go with a large street port or Full bridge
what is the best computer to use in your great opinions
what is the best spooling turbos
and size of injectors?
Once again, I dont mean to ask stupid questions what so ever, I just would like everyones opinion on what kind of set up I should go with.
Most runs that I will be doing is from 40-120mph.
thank you once again for all your opinions.

The focus was not meant to be on the BNR's, but rather on the support mods he'd need to consider in addition to the straight up power gainers.
So... no need to argue over a misunderstanding.
(goddamnit! you guys are making me feel like a ******* hippy here!!)

I apologise I am not trying to be a smart *** what so ever, I am just new to this once again.
I brought up the BNR's because that is what I am running. I tried to make the parallel though, that hatemy7 should *not* be running twins with the power levels he is looking to attain. I voiced my opinion purely on behalf of the fact that the supporting mods to effectively run BNRs at high boost are very similar (if not identical) to what you will need to effectively run a single.
I appreciate it Fendamonky, your comments and knowledge has led me to the direction that I am want. I am going with a Garrett GT35r Turbo.
I bought a brand new one for 750 thanx

Second, why did you bring up a video of a 2nd gen BNR set up. They are in no way compareable to the BNR's made for the FD as they are a *SINGLE* turbo...
