I am looking very avidly in getting a Newer RX-7. I want the 3rd gen ones but i have heard they have a lot of problems. So i am wondering if some of you guys could tell me about the problems and what to look for in buying one. LIke what is 'FD' and stuff like that. So please shead soe light on to my perdiciment. Thx

As for FD, FD is part of the chassis code for the 3rd Generation RX-7.

Well how bad do you want the car is the question. I wanted one so bad I bought it in need of turbo rebuilds, lekaing oil, minor body work, motor/trans mounts...I drive her everyday and love it. So I would say, test drive one, a good test drive, then start asking questions...
