I just bought another FD today!!

well this is my third FD (and hopefully last) 93 base, brilliant black, tan leather, 5 sp, 164k(yes you read it right) Everything seems to feel very tight, no rattling bushings anywhere, transmission shifts great, on third engine(atleast I hope) compression in the high sevens, low eights. I got the car for $7000 which I thought was a good deal. there are a few areas that the car needs attention. the drivers side outer door handle is bad, and driver side seat is a little ragged. But mechanically the car is awesome, it even has good paint.

I have sold my last 2 FDs to fellow forum members over the last year or so. cyberben3 owns my old silver touring. and rdahm owns the montego blue touring that I just sold(sorry about the engine man.)

I cannot seem to stay away from these cars for more than a few months, although I dont own a perfect specimen. I would like to keep this one indefintely!

I will post some pics of the $7000 FD after I get it cleaned up.

You can afford to buy 3 FD's... dude your lucky. The car addiction thing is something that is spread across alot of car enthusiasts. I find myself looking at and wanting more DSM's. Sounds like a good deal you got yourself there as long as you fix the interior issues. Can't wait to see the pics though.

HaHaHa--I bought his silver touring on Feb 8, 2002. I've had it a year and a week. Two months after he sold me the silver one, he buys the blue one. For some reason he sells that one no more than two months ago; and now he buys the black one. Three separate FD's in one year. You crack me up, man.

I still love the car--I have no intentions of ever selling it. Hang onto this one--you know you'll eventually be back...take care,

He doesn't own three. He sold his other two.

Congrats Scott. Are you going to be at any auto x's this season?

Wow...you should keep two...one to daily drive and the other to race. Must be nice.
