I have an idea...re: over-engineered rotary engine

What you guys think about making a complete rotary engine from scratch made of AIRCRAFT QUALITY BILLET ALUMINUM ? I mean, each individual parts of the rotary engine are machined from a CNC machine from a complete block of the material.

The reason I mentioned this because, look at the Top Fuel 500 cubic inch. motors that run in nitromethane, they all use the same material. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the reason they use the material because they can take the punishment and forgives detonation better than normal engine material. It also runs cooler...

Imagine what you can do...different porting sizes, and etc...

I know it takes a lot of time and $$$ to do this kind of project but that will take us to the next level.

Please, don't attack me on this, it's just my idea.
