How to tow fd3s?

I'm gonna take my car from CA to OK.

Yeah, it's gonna be long trip.

So, I need info about how to tow?

Is anybody who has towed fd3s using tow dolly?

Do I have to disconnect something on the axle?

My fd3s doesn't move.. - -

U-haul

I used a U-haul Car Transport Trailer (thats the official U-haul name). It worked very well. I think 3 people could push it on there (1 behind the wheel) with a rolling start, but 4 or 5 would be perfect.

The 2 wheel thing is $20 a day, whereas what I used was $40 a day. Well worth it.

I would recommend renting a flatbed trailer. Unbolt the driveshaft from the rear end (there are only 4 bolts holding it in), and wire it in place (not touching the rear end) so that it cannot move in either direction. Then push the car onto the trailer.

I would not use a tow dolly.

Flat Bed is the way to go. You put un due wear on the diff and tranny when you tow with the back wheels rolling.

i used one of those u-haul car transport trailers to haul my car home when i bought it. nothing but good things to say about it and you can return it to any u-haul dealer.

i'd have to agree against using a 2-wheel dolly

I'm going to use a flat bed when i take my car to get tuned. I Think it is the best way to transport any car that i can about or anything that doesnt leave the rear wheels rolling.
