I turned 19 in February and purchased my FD shortly after in March. Working fulltime right now and about to finish up the first part of school with my AS in network engineering. Im about in the same boat as Janus, just working IT down here in sunny SoCal (San Diego for me). Doing reliability stuff for my car waiting to pay it off. (halfway there) got some nice toys with her that will go in when im ready for it (FMIC + Apexi Single Turbo ) but want to get my downpipe and radiator installed asap as its starting to get hot around here (95 come on its may). Nice to be around here with all the knowledge that exists, if I wouldnt have found this forum i dont know what i would be doing.

24 since February. Work in sales at an Aviation Service Center(not a very glorifying job). Own a 96' Chevy 4x4, and a 90' Nissan 240sx hatchback, but saving up for an FD(friend had an FC Turbo II up until he got a 2nd gen Mr2 turbo). Still rather wet behind the ears on the rotaries, but I love the feel and the lines of the 3rd gens. (enough to pull me away from my 240's and pistons...)

I can't believe this thread started in '01. Well I'm 25, poor, broke, and don't have a lot of money.

I was 21 in March...Had the FD since '99. I've probably spend about $2000 on it including rims, tires, and rear seats.

I'm a mechanical engineering student at NCSU.

34 yo software engineer moving into architecture - bought my '94 in '97 off someone else's 3 year lease - had 33k on it, now just over 80k. I've put about $2500 into it in regular maintenance and oil leaks. A few weeks ago the turbo and engine died (turbo leaking oil, engine losing compression), so I'll be putting about 12k into it over the next 6-9 months, taking my time and performing several reliability modifications. Now that it's not my only car, I really feel I can do the work that needs to be done and take my time to do it right. This car is a classic.

43 – Computer system administrator for a federal agency, had '93 FD since early ’95 after ******* in F150 T-boned my mustang at 60 MPH while fleeing an attempted burglary. I am reluctant to add up how much I have put into it, but a wise man once told me ‘you can not justify money for toys, so don’t worry about it’, and so I don’t.
