i swear... people are too much on the forums. He might, he might not crash the FD. Whatever it is, it's his decision. We don't need to give him crap about it. If it's the fact that we are worried he might give another bad rep to our beloved FD's (or rotaries in general) then i hope he EDUCATES himself about all the proper maintenance he needs and the preventive care required to make his car last.

Last thing we want is his car to detonate and him swearing that the RX-7 is a piece of junk. But instead of talking him out of it, let's help this poor fellow into proper maintenance.

Btw. Get ready for one of the most EXPENSIVE maintenance and money pit cars you'll ever spend.

I'm not for agreeing with AMRAAM4 usually (lol), but I'm getting the sense that you (the considering buyer) will be busy with school, hence not able to take care of a car like this. On top of the fact that you're jumping at a car that's all the way in PA, not willing to fly over there to see the car, and considering a 3 year graduation. I think you're fortunate to be a rich kid but I think that you'd be better off having a car you can actually enjoy, rather than sit around and be paranoid about a car with such pristine mileage sitting at your mom's house. Why not consider a Z or an RX-8 that you can actually enjoy driving around at UCD with your friends, if that's the kind of activity you'd be interested in investing in.

This guy is a car salesman. I offered him 26.5K and he said no way. That was last Oct. I then bought a 95 with 6,500 miles. It was perfect. I paid 27K. You should look for a 94 or 95 with between 15 to 20K miles for around $23 to $25K from a private owner.IMHO

Just remember that a car with that few miles has been sitting for most of it's like. Seals dry out, hoses crack, fluids go bad, etc, etc.

you best bet is to buy my 50k mile showroom condition car for 19k.

you dont need to put a penny into it. doesnt even need a wax job or oil change.

Fuse, I found it on autotrader.com. I was on the lookout for about a month, every day. I still watch every week or two and have not seen the same price for what I have. But I have seen some 94s and 95s with a few more miles for around 25K. I watch Ebay also. I got my daily driver from on Ebay from a captain in the Airforce. 01 Prelude SH with 30K mi. for $16K. There is a guy in Phildelpha (i think). He has a 93 CYM with about 18K mi. he pops up evry so often trying to sell for around 27.5 or so. If I ever get the chance I might buy that one also. You just have to be patient. There are some great RX-7s out there.

You would not want to pay 25K for anything unless you have it checked out and see some records. $19K for a stock FD with 50K miles is less expensive. And that's a good thing. IMHO

Any one wants to give an offer of mine.

Orginal owner
94 Touring has 4950 miles.
Montego Blue with Spoiler.
Stock orginal except the battery & added Clear Bra.
Park indoor with dual covers all time.
Warm up and drive around blocks at lease once every 3 months.

Had offer 25K+ few years ago but refused.
Same as before, don't know what to do with it now.
May be keep it for another 12 years for my kids.
