How much should i as for
i just got my car and im replacing the engine /trans and everything. Im wondering how much should i ask for the engine since it has really low compression (blown)? i also have the stock turbos ,intercooler, 5sp tranny everying in the engine bay. i was thinking like 500 for the engine and like 400 for the tranny and maybe like 1000 for all of it , turbos, engine, tranny, ac , everything. Just let me know if you guys think this is is about right or your comments

maybe rather than replacing these items you should save yourself money and have them rebuilt. You'll waste alot of money replacing items and there's a good chance that any items you replace them with are on their way out anyway. Its best just to get them rebuilt so you know you have a fresh start.

What are you doing? Are you parting your car out just because it needs a rebuild?
If you want to keep the car get a malloy reman engine. Its the best bang for your buck.
That is unless you are one of those guys who bastardizes these cars by installing a V8.

v-8 Conversions are Great!!!
Here is a neat little nugget of info:
Since I completed my rotary to LS1 (thats a Chevy v-8 FYI) conversion this past Spring. I've had no engine problems with my car.
That 8 months of service is the longest my RX-7 has ever run without a problem.
That is do to superiour American technology.
