It is $75 at least in the US for the dealer to get it. UMMM -wow, I have seen these listed for 60,000 in Ausie dollars so fair value should be at least the asking price. Buy it.

Oh man these rides are so sweet. I wouldn't be a reasonable person to talk to about buying one... I'd pay a fortune for it.

I paid AUD $38k for a 2000 Series 8 Type R just before Christmas. Its completely stock except for a cat back exhaust and has a genuine 15,000ks on the clock (well atleast 3 mechanics have told me that - I got really scared I'd bought a lemon just after I bought it and took it to everyone to check it out!). Turns out its absolutely perfect.

So I'd say anything mid 40's would be a good deal for that car. It should hold its value well as a collectors edition since its the final production run.

I saw one in Austraila Blk on Blk type B, for 78,000 AUD still wrapped in plastic with 128km on the clock?

Another Type A for 45,000 AUD but I don't remember how much was on the clock....

both 2002 models. It makes me want to move to Austraila

I just bought a Type A with 34,000km on the clock for $45k here in Oz which compared to most dealers bringing them in is a great price.

Most I've seen are asking for mid to high $50k's for similar K's.

I've heard ones with K's as low as 8000km would go for well over $60k.

The red strut bar is supposed to be there. But then so is the battery cover and the engine bay looks a bit dirty for just 8000kms ...

Also the Spirit R badge SHOULD be behind the side indicators .. this one's strangely above???

Good luck!

- note my nice new SILVER coloured number plate will be arriving this week so the shitty yellow one it came with from the dealer will be long gone!

i would give up every car in my garage right now for a spirit r in minty shape. i know it isn't rational, but what about owning RX-7's really is?
