how to mod california car?? help

ok, heres my problem, i live in california and i have already received a ticket for one of my fd's regarding a hks bov that was said to be illegal. i want to a smog referee station and he said anything that doesnt have a carb or EO number is illegal. i didnt understand how a bov on a map system will change emmisions? anyway, my ticket costs $321. now, i am geting my motor rebuilt by Jeff at Rotary Power with a streetport (mild that passes smog) and 2mm seals. after the breakin, i am going to purchase a greddy fmic (that has a carb number so i am not worried) and BNR stage 2's. i am also going to purchase a PFC and i need a fuel system. here is my question, with 1300 secondaries and stock primaries i need a fuel pressure regulator? how can i put that somewhere that cops cant see? i need to make my engine look as stock as possible but with the stage2's, i want at least 325-350rwhp. i have already dont all of the reliability mods. here are my other mods:
hks mega flow intake.
apexi ni catback.
hks downpipe.
might get a high flow cat or puch out mine but must appear like i have one. i have 2 so i can change it out for smog.
greddy 2 row fmic
koyo rad.
alum. ast
hks bov
vaccume lines
lightweight flywheel
act heavy duty clutch
and a brand new streetported motor

any help??

thanks, Roman

My dad has the same goals with his Supra, one thing he did was rotate the profec b vaccum lines so the greddy was underneath. Another thing he did was mount his turbo timer and profec b in the arm console. You could try mounting these items under the dash below and to the right of the steering wheel. For the bov, I'm not sure what you could do, is it mounted on the ic piping (or will it be) or elsewhere? For the fpr, you could try getting a litttle black plastic box that snaps around it, it would be indiscreet with just a couple of lines coming out of it, and since its a rotary most people don't know what does what. Maybe you could paint the bov flat black so it doesn't stand out. As far as the cats go, I think a cop would have raise the car to see a midpipe, especially if it was a dull steel and not polished. I don't know what to do about your intakes, maybe look for some fake CARB numbers if they don't have them. Well, good luck, hope these suggestions might help. Josh

thanks for the help. i thought of that too. my question is if i can mount the FPR further back? i mean like where the tranny is? also, when i go non sequential, will i get in trouble for most of my vaccume lines missing? i know that the smog referee can tell but i need it to look stock.

I don't think they will pick up on the hoses so much, unless they looked very carefully at the diagram, which you could just remove of course. I don't know about moving the fpr back further, I haven't worked with them, but I would think easy access would be important, and putting it where it could be damaged is not a good idea. Plus you could just look around for a smog test place that doesn't really care as long as you pass. The place I got mine done at didn't even mention the aftermarket intake or the bov vented to the atmosphere, they just hooked up the sensors and went. Josh

Busted for the muffler? Did he do a decible test or what? It was my understanding that a modified muffler was legal as long as it was not too loud (I don't remember the specifics). Maybe I'm wrong, but that was my understanding. Oh well, think of it this way, we have kick *** weather, the terminator as a governor, and more single, beautiful young women looking for guys with nice cars then any where else. I love Cali, even if Hitler's protege, the CARB is in control and cops don't like modded imports.
