I live in Pudunk Tri-Cities and there are:
1 silver with wrecked pass side door and fender
2 whites, 1 with missing headlight cover and shitty condition and 1 that used to be red, and had a crappy repaint, in crappy condition and the door jams are still red, along with the hatch seal area, and engine bay.
2 reds 1 in good condition, 1 just moved here from Ohio, seemed to be pretty straight, and bone stock
1 yellow (very rarely seen) in great condition
1 black haven't seen it in 2 years
1 MB (mine) i wonder if any of their's are 95's like mine? oh, mine: not delivered yet, engine blown, otherwise in great condition.

Got it. It would be nice to know how many are still registered. Just noting that I've seen many cars become track only over the years. I probably see more FD's at the track, both registered and unregistered than I do on the street. These are usually Mazda events though. I rarely get together with other FD owners outside of track events.

I have seen 3 FDs on the road in my life. 1 going opposite direction down a 4 lane street, 1 beautiful VR going through an intersection while I was stuck in traffic, and mine. The only reason I count mine is because the previous guy who owned it actually got lost one day and we happend to see him pulling aroudn in a church. A month later I bought the car. 3 on the road...I've seen 4 lambos, 3 ferraris. Thats some pretty cool numbers if you ask me, either our cars are really rare or just blow up and sit in garages I might donate to this I find this very interesting.

Maybe that would be an interesting supplement to the list, having all the known track cars added up. I'm sure with all the guys who frequent the track such as yourself a large majority of the track FD's should be known. From what I can tell, everyone in the FD racing community either knows each other, or knows of each other.

As far as the unregistered cars currently under the knife, we could start a thread "Who has an unregistered non-track FD?" and just see who checks in on that.

After addressing those two issues I'm sure we could have the overall total number within a percentage point or so.

i don't how many are left but there is always atleast five different ones for sale on this forum along ebay is getting slim mostly scams. i really love the car but i really have to think about if i want to buy another one b/c soon the parts are going to get pretty rare or pretty expensive since the parts will have to be shipped from japan of the newer models. (i'm talking 10 years from now) but i guess every car will get old and parts will get hard to find. if i buy another FD i want it to stay in the family untill a wreck or i die. FDs are in the same league as cars made today its stucks that mazda could for see the following and produce them over here until 02 also but they didn't

also how many of them total(93-95) were shipped to the US

I can account for 1 unregistered '94 Touring MB. Trying to scrape together the funds to get it back up and running again.

I live around central AL south of Phil. Mine is a Brilliant Black 93 touring. There are about 7 others I've seen around from time to time or heard of in the area. I see another on my way to work every morning that was originally Montego Blue but is now White. So you could say I get to see two FD's every day
