How good is the mazdaspeed LSD?

Compared to the KAZZ? Will be used mainly at the drag strip. I have the KAZZ now but it may be destroyed...

Mazdaspeed, Amemiya, Torsen, Kaaz... doesn't matter. The cast iron housing is a weak point, as you found out, and the differential unit you choose won't do anything to change that.

Cryo treat your housing. Can't hurt, might help.

My stock torsen diff. blew up inside the cast iron housing while drag racing. The cast iron casing was fine, but then I eventually replaced the diff. with a 1.5 way Kaaz. I wish I went back with a Torsen since I don't drag no more. The FD is meant to be more of a road racer anyway.
