the easiest way to take that out is to take the whole rack out and not just the portion that holds the solenoids. Underneath your coil are 4 bolts. thats all that holds down that rack and everythnig else is vaccum lines, fuel lines.

Take the coils out. Remove the 14mm/12mm bolts underneith it. Unplug all the connectors from the solenoids. Unbolt the oil filler neck from the rack. Cut or remove all hoses and you should be able to remove it with no issues.

okay, all that stuff is out...and i never messed w/ the fuel lines. I'm going to do basically a mix between the poor-mans and the full NS....which means everything like removing ALL the solenoids and lines, but not welding anything. What lines do i need to cap? and what lines need to be re-run?

If anyone has a clear pic of what the FPD looks like mounted on the car, I'd really appreciate it. I am thinking of replacing mine, but need to try and determine if its a project I am capable of. I looked at the manual, but the diagram leaves something to be desired and I'm visually challenged...

Thanks.
