How do I get the turbos off?
I've removed 6 nuts/studs (5 of one type, 1 of another) that hold the turbos to the exhaust manifold.
I've disconnected the upper oil an water supply lines and the lower oil return lines.
But the turbos are still firmly attached to the exhuast housing.
Have I forgotten something? If not, what can I hit/pry to get them loose? Obviously I don't want to pound on the turbos themselves.

And you've disconnected the lower oil return lines too?
I would think that all you need to do is "rap" the turbos a little with a rubber mallet or a dead blow hammer. It sounds to me like you have all of the bolts loose, maybe you just need to break loose the gaskets a little to seperate the turbos from the housing.

Thanks guys!
There are lots of diagrams that show the 6 studs/nuts, so I thought that was it. I should have been suspicious of the two larger nuts on the inspection plate because they're too big to just hold the inspection plat on the housing.
I just checked the engine removal/disassembly section of the shop manual and found a diagram that shows that the other two nuts/bolts have to come off too.
Thanks again!
