Horror Story
Today the unthinkable happened to me.. I just got the car done with its tuning yesterday and it was running great 345.7rwhp, so i decided today would be a good day for an oil change but i didn't feel like doing it, so i took it to the lube place got it done was driving the car home gave it boost then hit the gas again and noticed a really strange noise with my turbos so i got home jacked the car up and saw that my drain plug was not there so my car was loosing oil the hole time.. Its down at the rx7 store in columbus ohio now, i know the turbos are dead and i don't know about the motor it sucks cause it was too late by the time i noticed something was up.. So i get free new turbos and maybe a new free motor its good and bad horrible horrible!!!@

I was running at 14psi all stock motor and turbos car has 67000 miles on it, it was the walmart lube place so i know they have the best insurance and they wouldn't want something to leak out or anything to affect there name. What really sucks i should've known better, but i thought it was just an oil change and its so universal that i thought no one could mess that up. Will it have to retuned since its getting new turbos and maybe new motor, and i'd image that i should get a little more power maybe not much but just a little since they will be new.. Thanks for saying the dyno numbers are good this car is my dream and things happen first it took forever with the mods, then the 5th gear went out with the new power so i had to get that rebuilt and now this. YOu think that is a horror story? Back when I was building my 1900horsepower 4-rotor project, I was testing the car at a local back street.( I live in Utah) During a shake down run, the motor blew and caught the car on fire. It sprayed fuel inside the cabin, killing my Wife. That is a horror story. So dont tell me about your sorry *** turbo sled.

Guess I'll step up and be the ***. I'm personally call BS. For one, why would someone as bitter as you suddenly show up on a webforum and flame everyone instructing people with near stock FC to get Dogbox transmissions and preaching the virtues of the 4-rotor. How much did that 4-rotor of yours cost? Where did you get it? If it was such and amazing and serious racecar why weren't more safety precautions taken? Why was there a passenger? And why wasn't it you, because 7 posts into your time here your the most annoying person we've had. Your not needed.

I always inspect my mechanics work and suggest how to do things (I dont have a lift and all the tools but I learn a lot around here). For example when I changed my pillowabll bushings, my mechanic said it would take 5 hours and he wanted to take off the rear suspension. I told him to try it first with an air gun wrench and screw+washers+bolts. Voila
Then I go to another mechanic for an oil change - he couldnt even find the filter himself. Nor the sparkplugs, lol
So ya - I'm always watching ppl work on my car.
For 5mins that I left the shop when they were changing my brake fluid they did a lousy job and just replaced the fluid in the brake fluid reservoir. Gotta hate that

Look at 787B wannabe profile, and his posts, His answers are always your **** sucks, or get a 4-rotor cause your setup sucks. Bastard. Also, 515 whp@11,800 rpm's? A 4-rotor? His car below.
1998 Lola outfitted with a peri port 4-rotor, 2 weber 51 ida carbs. Custom downdraft manifold. Lots of other racing parts, that you'd expect on a race car of this caliber. 515 rwhp@ 11,800rpm, car with driver and full fuel cell weighs, 1800lbs.

Well today i found out the turbos are for sure dead its smoking like crazy and they make nasty noises so tomorrow they are gonna drain the oil and look for metal shavings and do a compression check
