HKS F-CON V anyone ????
Is anyone using the HKS F-CON V ?
It' s silver (brushed alloy) piggy back computer.
I am not talking about the older black one, nor the F-CON V "Pro" which is currently the biggest competitor for the Power FC in Japan.
I am using one and I have been trying to find out if I have to use the HKS FCD with it or not.
I tried to wire in an FCD but I get bad hesitation if it is hooked up.
Many people tell me yes, you need it but I think they talk about the older F-CON (Black). Others tell that the FCD is integrated in the "V".

The Fcon is a piggyback fuel computer. It should have a fuel/speed cut built into it. if it doesnt, a shop might have tuned one in. As of now, only HKS certified shops have the software to reprogram Fcons...take it to a shop, and see if they can access the data for you
