HKS F-CON SZ...FD model difference?

Maybe someone can pinpoint the difference between the HKS F-CON SZ for the 91-95 FD and the 96-99 FD? Is it because of the turbos changing? I would imagine it has something to do with the ECU. And if it is the ECU, how hard would it be to put a 96+ engine with turbos and ECU into a 91-95 FD?

From: The Houston Club's Resident Lush.
The ECU and ECU wiring harness was changed in 96 and again in 99.

The HKS is a piggy back fuel computer.

Thats all I know.

What does it take to adapt a 32 bit ECU into a 92-95 car? Could you just change the engine/turbos or do you even need to do that...other than the wiring harness what would be changed? I imagine a 32-bit and newer ECU would run the car not only more efficiently but I'm sure Mazda has figured out some good updates along the way.
