Hitting fuel cut?

Hitting fuel cut?
just curious about fuel cut, does this happen at a certain boost level? certain rpm? reason i ask is i was driving & did a 3rd gear pull, fairly cool out, seen 13-13.5 boost & car seemed to die for a moment, i'm assuming this could be fuel cut but not sure. still stock ecu, 3'' e-bay garbage exhaust, intake filters, soon to be boost controller if this is my problem. with stk ecu i should be running boost no more than 10lbs correct? thanks

Basically, the stock ECU allows for a litte spiking around the transition area:
Code:
RPM ABS. CUT OFF(PSI) SEA LEVEL CUT OFF(PSI) 1000 26.5 11.8 1500 26.5 11.8 2000 26.5 11.8 2500 26.5 11.8 3000 26.9 12.2 3500 27.1 12.4 4000 27.5 12.8 4500 28.0 13.3 5000 26.9 12.2 5500 26.0 11.3 6000 25.8 11.1 6500 25.4 10.7 7000 25.4 10.7

Overboost fuel cut function involves only the rear rotor and when actuated the motor does not feel like it dies, rather it runs on one rotor. The transition is fairly smooth.
There is also an engine overspeed fuel cut to both rotors at about 8100 rpm(on a 5 speed). This feels like the motor dies and definitely feels jerky.
Fuel cuts occur also as part of the deceleration fuel strategy, how and where the fuel is cut is described in the Sevice Highlights Manual published by Mazda.
If you are scared of fuel cuts the RX7 is the wrong car for you!
