What kind of car was it? My car got hit by some college **** last year, and she was driving like a 1989 accord, I wish it had been an Audi or something... just sucks so much more when the damage caused is from a car you can buy with the money in your wallet...

Why did you just "get his information". I would of called the ******* cops and made a report and even made a note that he attempted at first to flee the seen, but after being followed for a short time period, pulled over. Now if he doesn't pay up, you have to sue him and go through all that bullshit whereas most people when properly documented by an officer and with their insurance involved, act very quickly to resolve the situation.

Dude, I feel for you. I know everyone makes driving mistakes at one point or another and 99% of them don't result in any type of accident, but for someone to even attempt to flee, even if it was just for a few seconds....needs their *** kicked.

+1, I don't care how nice (or hott) someone is, you hit my car, I'm callin the cops. Some guy was like "oh I'll fix it myself" when he hit "Betty the Baby Blue Buick Bomber". I bought the car for $500, his insurance gave me $1800 for the hood and front bumper damage. Thanks for the FD parts, *******.

The cops never really do anything around here, thats why. Yesterday there was a little fender bender in front of my house and in front of the cops and they didn't really do anything.

I wanted to kick his *** but i thought about it and said it wasn't worht it.

It's called responsibility. The average American is not taught this. Nothing is their fault. Couldn't have been.

The same thing happened to me a year ago on La Cienega Blvd. near the 405. The stupid bitch admitted to me that she came into my lane but when I filed the claim with her insurance company she had lied and said I came into her lane and hit her.

I wanted to kill that bitch. I even planned on slashing her tires because I knew where she lived from the info she gave me.

The insurance company ended up taking her side(big surprise) and saying it was a 50/50 liablity issue and I got nothing. I actually still have the dent on my driver's side.

I and you should have called the cops to get a written report taken. I have learned my lesson. Good luck to you though. Maybe your guy will be honest.

Damn! Hopefully that doesn't happen to me. He did admit to me that he hit me but i know how that goes too. People say one thing then another. The only reason i didn't call the cops is because this has happen before, my mom got hit in front of my house and the police report didn't help her at all. My brother also got hit in his work van, in front of my house too, and if it wouldn't have been for his insurance nothing would have happen. The police report didn't help them it was just their insurance that ended up paying for them, because of the full coverage.

+1, With the way America is now I'm suprised they didn't try to sue you for not seeing you when they hit you.
