man there are always cops on the 405, i almost got pulled over, i was doing 80mph, luckily i saw the police car and slammed on the brakes and hid on the other side of the truck so there was no chance he radared me, it's really addictive when there isn't a car infront of you in your lane

There's a couple of places on US-6 here in Denver where you can do that too. sometimes, traffic will mysteriously open up, all three lanes, for a mile or so. Yesterday, this happened just as a C5 and a delivery van were coming up on me in the left two lanes. I dropped it down, took off, was doing a buck twenty before I knew it! I look up in my mirror and the C5 is struggling to keep up.. I just chuckled to myself and slowed back down as I entered traffic.

Badog- Camelback Ski Area in Pocono Mtns. I was about the only non-cop on the patrol for about 8 years. The State cops and sheriff deputies were hired to do ski accident investigations and to "police" the reckless and out of control skiers to reduce the ski area's risk to law suits by reckless and out of control skiers who got hurt by being reckless and out of control. The cops had a training program for the patrol members which followed some of their training at the PA state police academy in Hershey. It gave me an insight as to how they view their job and "some" defense against speed traps and other hazards of driving an RX-7. Didn't help me much this time, but in PA I often knew enough cops that I got away with a few infractions which would have ordinarily got me a ticket.
