ive had mine for about 2.5 years. I will always own or be in search of at least one rx7, i just cant get away from the styling and the awesome chassis that is good for drag racing, road racing, autox, and just some plain old spirited driving.

First FD was bought in Aug '92. I had that through May '04, near 12 years.
I sold it and went over to Porsche. Am now selling the Porsche, and just bought a '94.
Do I get credit for prior time-in-service?
Also, owned an '84 GSL-SE from '86 until I bought the FD.

Haven't had mine as long as Joe but close.
93 bought in late 94 (me being the 2nd owner)- still got it and dont' plan on selling it any time soon (or later).
91 bought in late 96 - still got it as my daily driver
89 TII bought in 2002 from a friend - still got it, restoring it and might sell it or turn it into the track/autocross toy
80 bought in 1999 sold in 2001 to a friend to use in spec 7 - really was a piece of **** car to begin with. Still want a 85 GSL-SE though

1991 Rx7 convertible bought it 1999.. had it for about 9 months and sold it to my ex-girlfriend who totalled it a year later. After selling that car, I was in search for an 3rd gen.
My current 93 Blk base, bought it 2001, 3rd owner (down since aug of 2004). NEVER would I sell it!
My current 93 MB touring, bought it Aug 2004 (to drive it while my blk FD was down), 3rd owner. probably never sell it
My current 93 Blk R1, bought it 4 months ago.. we'll see what happens to this one.
I've also bought 2 other FD's in 2003, but one, I kept the heart and sold it to someone who's going to do an LS1 and other to my engine builder.

I purchased my first FD in 98 and I was the 3rd owner. A month later I started autocrossing because there was no way to enjoy the car on the street without doing some damage to something or someone.
1 year later I bought another one because the 1st one was in the shop. This is also about the time I started participating in high performance driving schools and from this point on the addiction escalated rapidly creating what could quite possibly be the sickest FD individual on the planet![Big Grin](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
The disease progresses further; I was purchasing my 4th FD with a pregnant wife from a guy who was selling his because his wife was pregnant. You're not a true addict until you've reached the point of no interference from the outside world. It's just you and the FDs and NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!!!!!!

I bought mine in 2000 right after i graduated from high school. I payed $290 a month insurance alone at that time.
The car was completely stock/tan interior, automatic tranny car with 70K miles with a fresh rebuild.
5 years later its a 5spd, black interior, single turbo car with another new engine
