Helpp!!!!!

Im buying(want to)an Rx-7 for $16,550 with about 78,000k miles..............Am I right on the buying it.....or is the price/milage too steep....Its the only 7 I've seen in almost 2 years around here.......so.....Im stomped....anyone have any advise.....by the way....I live in Cleveland...if that helps AT ALL!??!
I've checked the car out...a Hose from the intercooler to a turbo broke, and it was replaced....should I be concerned on engine damage because of this?
plus the guy said the Syncros are good, but the clutch is slipping........it didnt feel like it was slipping...

Any Ideas??

thank you

sounds way too high..
with that amount of miles, i'd expect 12-14k range.
what year is it?
5spd or AT?
Any pics?
All records?
Original Owner?

Well since he said the syncros were ok but the cluth was supposedly slipping I would say the obvious answer there would be its a 5spd, right? If a hose from the IC to the turbo broke it would just cause a boost leak and not cause any engine damage so dont worry about that part of the equation. You need to educate yourself a little more before buying this car I think. To me the price sounds a little high if its the original motor unless the interior/exterior is pristine and the engine has good compression. Good luck with it though,

Check Autotrader or eBay as well as the For Sale page here. There should be some FD's for sale in your area...
