Help removing A/C from engine
So, i blew my heater core and at that point i told myself "screw it"
so i started cleaning up the engine bay... at this point im removing the Air pump, i got greedy pulley kit and was contemplating getting a idler pulley to get more belt on the alternator, but i dont think it will be a huge thing since i know it only affects alternator during low RPM's which wont be happening with my car...
anywayz, now that i have removed the A/C condenser i look at the engine and realized that the compressor is on a belt @ bottom right of the engine...
now i was wondering what are the necessary steps to remove it, should i even remove it?
what are your suggestions?

Yes, you should remove it. It is heavy and will be taking up power. There's 4 long bolts in a square pattern on the right side of the compressor holding it on. Then, remove the electrical clip that goes to it and the AC charge line. Those 4 bolts are a PITA to get to, especially the back bottom one..

Deleting the air pump has nothing to do with the alternator, it's the water pump you need to worry about as it will slip, even with the GReddy pulleys. An idler pulley is still highly recommended.
The A/C Clutch also automatically turns off above a certain RPM (I forget the exact RPM but it's well before you make peak power) so it won't really effect your power. The biggest tax the A/C systems puts on the car is the cooling system.

the only good item i have frmo the whole setup is he condenser, i could take pictures and show you
also... if i remove the A/C compressor pump, do i need to get an idler pulley or get different belts? what is the proper way of following throught with this? ive removed almost everything but the compressor so im wondering...
