Help with load turbos.

93' FD. The car is all stock except for a fluidyne radiator. Turbos are real load, sounds like I have a much meaner setup then I do. Boost pattern is normal and drives fine. Should I worry or let it ride? Thanks in advance.

Unless you hear a "grinding/screeching" sound (turbines hitting the housing) I wouldn't worry about it.
After all.. Who doesn't love the sound of a spoolin turbo...

...is your intake stock?...is there an air cleaner?... I think most aftermarket air cleaners without a box are going to sound louder

Sorry about the delay, I just finalized the sale of the car in the last few days so I've been busy. The car is completely stock except for a upgraded fluidyne radiator. The first turbo spools up just fine with a normal high pitched whine, but the second one makes a fluttering sound that I've yet to hear on other turbo cars.

On a side note, any links involving the workings of an oil guage? I need to see what kind of guage it is because mine's not working right. The guage will read normal sometimes but then other times it goes down to 0 and the light comes on. I thought I might have acutally lost oil pressure but the temp. guage reads completely fine. Should I be worried about this?

Thanks for the replies everyone

The light is for oil level ,check that The gage going to zero could be a dirty spade connector on the sending unit or a bad sending unit .Most likely a dirty connector .

Ok, I'll definately check the oil guage connection unit, hopefully that will fix it. So what else do you all think about the fluttering turbo? To be more exact, the fluttering sound doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes it's really loud but other times I don't even notice it. Any ideas??

thanks
