Help! Installed HID kit now the headlights don't work!
Installed my Bi-Xenon HID kit last night/this morning. I bought the kit from HIDextra.com.
My first question is about the fact that there was no 2nd connector to the 2nd stock plug. The 3 prong harnesses that connects to the stock bulbs is what I'm referring to. I have one connector in the HID kit to connect to one of the 3 prong harnesses, but the other stock harness doesn't have anything to connect to. Does this seem right?
I hooked everything up and the lights do not come on. I tried leaving them on for a short bit, but they do not come on at all. All my other lights work fine.
The other concern is that after I turned them on the first time, I now have this intermittant clicking that seems to be coming from the passenger side light area. Not sure if this is a relay or what, but I'm concerned there is a problem or something is going to drain my battery.
Can anyone offer any guidance or help? I need to get everything working today and would hate for all the time I spent to be wasted and have to reinstall the stock lighting systems.

Hey,
First test your 3 pin plug that on a stock system plugs directly into the back of the bulbs, just to eliminate all stock wiring & switches. The middle pin is earth, one is low beam, other is high beam (I forget which was around they are). They should have 12v when active.
If they appear to not be working, then there is fault finding instructions in the body electrical manual.
If that is all fine, then test the power to the ballasts when the headlights are on. But my guess would be that two dead ballasts is unlikely.
Check your earths with a multi meter. Most kits have a separate earth for each light. Make sure they have a good earth. This imo is what is most likely to be the problem.
If all this fails then I would say the control unit (usually totally sealed) is damaged, or the relays inside it are damaged & send it back.
