Angry Help Guys! SEARS F#cked up my rims!!!!

Help Guys! SEARS F#cked up my rims!!!!
Well, I kind of knew this was going to happen.
To make a long story short, I took my front tires to be put on my SSR A2's tonight, and they while trying to remove my old Bridgestones and mounting the new ones they chipped the hell out of my rims!!! The lips has clearcoat chipped off to the bare aluminum! Scratches all over.
I took pictures before I went in, because I had a feeling something like this was going to happen. As my pictures show before they were flawless!!!
I talked to the manager and they want to send it to a rim place in NJ, which place I don't know, I want to find out tomorrow, if I agree to have their place take care of it.
What would you guys do???
Doe's anyone know a good place to have my rims refinished?
They said the turnaround is 3 or 4 weeks, now I'm going to miss MADS!!! I'm soo pissed, now I won't be able to drive for weeks, what should I do? Who is the best place to make these look new and has a quick turnaround time?

Thanks guys.

I would make them pay for a rental car. Tell them this is your daily driver and can't be without your car for that long of a period of time. Either rental car or $$$$.

Have them done after MADS. Explain to them that it is neccesary for waht you had planned, and they ruined it. If they are any bit reasonable, they will not have problem with that.

Gordon, are you reffering to this place?
http://www.wheelcollision.com/
They look like they do great work. If you think they are good, then they are good enough for me.
Do you guys think I should get them polished? Then I would have to do the rear ones too, but that may look kind of nice.

I would suggest that they buy you some new ones, or give you the money they would end up spending to get them fixed. You retain the right to get them fixed where you want.

They're on special at the rack, so get them from there. I'll even get you the cost on them and ship them to you. Or you can order them yourself.

Sears installed 4 new tires on my truck when it was less than a year old and the tire tech. did not remove my wheel weights before dismounting my tires. The tire mounting machine dragged the weights around the lip of all 4 ( I guess they wanted them all to match ) of the rims and they did not say anything to me. I saw it when I went out to pick up my truck and flipped out. They bought me new rims and I kept the factory alloys.

Sears is horrible! I've been jacked by them a few times and will never go back. I have two stories:

1) I went in to get two new tires put on, and the other two balanced (because my steering wheel was shaking, and I just wanted to eliminate a wheel balance problem). They charged me for valve stems, and never installed new ones, and they charged me for the wheel balance, and never did that either! I got my car back and the steering wheel still shook, so I thought I had more serious problems, but found out that they screwed me on the balance. When I went back to get the new valve stems, they broke a wheel stud and I was stuck there for like 2 hours while they tried to find a new one.

2) I took in my old Ford Probe to get two new front tires and an alignment (Michelin Road Handler Sport tires). Total came to around $250. Went back there a year later to get the same thing (two tires and an alignment). This time the price was around $350! They charged me $80 instead of $40 for the alignment because it was a 'difficult' alignment (I guess it wasn't difficult a year ago), and I compared recipets, and prices on all the little things went up by around $5 each. The tires were nearly the same price both times. I was pretty pissed.

Try to get new wheels first, but if they won't go for that, make sure that they agree to have all four wheels refinished, because they won't look exactly the same as the stock finish. I have seen some refinished stock wheels and they looked very nice, but not exactly like stock (they actually looked better than stock). If you want all four to match, make sure they do all four.

$hit, I never thought about them matching, your right on that one. I don't think they will go for getting me new rims, the manager described on the work order as, "Minor paint damage." I know the manager as well. Maybe I should tell them that they are on special at the rack for on $300.00, those f#ckers.
Here's the best part on the receipt, it says on customer comments, "mount on rims be extra carefull.", cause thats what I told them before they even touched the f!cking things!!!
Sounds like Sears sucks all around, I thought I would get $hit from everyone for taking the rims there, (no not the car I wouldn't let them touch or see it) but they are one of the only places around here that I remotley think may be able to handle something like this (now I know they can't). I do everything myself because not a single freaking place can doing anything right around here!!! Its a damn shame, you can even get tires mounted in this f*ucking area without somebody messing it up.
Think I'm going to move to Cali or something.
I let you know how my saga turns out, I'm heading back down to Sears as we speak.

**** mexican weed it's all about the sticky green stuff from up north. We may smoke out here but we are in the heart of the import aftermarket industry. At least I can have my car tuned by XS, maintenance done by Signal Auto and stop by and say hi to my friends at HKS in the same day.

man that sucks...guess everyone is having bad luck these days. My car was backed into another car by the repair man that was aligning my wheels after I got my springs on my car. I don't let anyone do anything to my car except the things I have to let someone else do....SHOPS SUCK!!!!!

and now the rest of the story.

Well, I just got them back yesterday. After all this time, my car (daily driver) has been on the FC and FD jacks.
First impression:
Well they do look brand new, the finish is good.
Problem is, they look too brand new, now I have different colored fronts and the backs look old. (Max was right)
Great I have a clown car!!!
Next Impression:
Install, first one I put on and goes on without a hitch.
The second one, well didn't turn out so great.
Each lug hole, the paint and clearcoat came off, just from putting the lugs on!!! No different then I've done at least a dozen times.

Damn I'm pissed!!! Its a good thing they come with a "lifetime warranty", I wonder if the cover installing under the abuse?

Now I have to contact the wheel place and bitch (damn this sucks!) and have to figure out what to do.

Oh and some how between all the places my valve stems ended up missing. Now it looks like a school bus!!! With big olde, nasty @$$ black stems.

Yeah whats up with that picture? When I first saw it, I was like damn maybe I don't want to send my rims there.

And why Sears?
Well, why not Sears, all they do is tires, right? And they sell aftermarket (all though cheap) rims.
Plus they were open.
But the main thing is, live in Binghamton (yeah right, don't do it man. ), and you will understand.
There is no one you can take your car to, or trust that won't f#ck it up even more.
I took it to a place called Detail Works that washes and waxes (duh) and sells aftermarket rims and rice accessories.
They did it right, I wanted to take it there in the first place, but by the time I'm done with class there're already closed.

I do everything myself, except $hit like this. I can't very well balance and mount my own tires. So I have no choice.
