Sits in my garage 24/7, it's just a conversation piece for when strangers come over.

You too?

Hey TDCPROJECT... the next time someone posts multiple pictures and you feel you have to quote their post in your response, EDIT THEIR QUOTE and remove the pictures or just leave the one(s) you're referring to. We don't need duplicates of five pictures for a one-line response. Congratulations, you just passed Forum Etiquette 101.

Oh Jim, you always say what I'm thinking. I was *going* to post something like "Oh hey man, you live nearby?! Let's go cruise!" as the fact is I drive around quite frequently. But alas, I was already soured by the irrelevant multi-picture quote.

Looks damn nice man. I dont post on the board about cosmetic stuff much, this is one of the first things I've seen anyone do in a LOOOOOOOONG time that I really liked. Making them bright white really brings seems to bring the cluster up to date.

What grit sandpaper did you use? How much were those bulbs???

I'm down. If I loose I loose. But I'll be damn sure I'm not going to be a cocky *** about it. Irrelevant will be even after I loose, I'll say "Hey, that's pretty fast" then deem you irrelevant as I care less about crap like this and people like you who think they're faster than everyone else. There's always someone faster.

How about let's not be soooooo secretive about it.

You're not that dude in that Camaro that wanted to run everyone last year at Streets down on Central are you? What was it...for like $50?

So what do you have?

And I was referring to this:

If you were up to race, and put all those pretty instruments to use, let me know 0 Ill be glad to show you what irrelevant feels like.
Maybe I took it the wrong way, and if I did, I appologize, but it sounded pretty cocky to me.

Central road west of Roselle road. And streets of woodfield is the other reference.

it was cocky. Im a cocky *******. But it was in response to his "irrelevant" comment. It reminded me of a supra elitest. So i responded in kind.

and as far as streets, I dont go there. I already said I dont "cruise". Streets is for ricers, and the people who dont race/only bench race.

So the question remains. What DO you drive, or rather race?

I'm certainly not a ricer. That's for damn sure. It's a convienent place for most of us, thus that's where we go. And I don't drag. I'm assuming that that's what type of racing you're talking about. That's a little boring to me. So in that respect, I'm sure that you're better than me as I'm setting up for road courses. But, like I said...I'll take you up on your offer. No keyboard courage here.

I can respect that.

im just saying, if people are serious abotu racing, they know where to go. and its not streets of woodfield. Although, when i am looking for a new 15 year old girl friend, I do visit that location

ehhhh im secretive like a dark and mysterious woman. I have a slow mustang or 2, with alot of gay instruments on the dash. just like the original poster.

Thanks! Yeah, I debated what I wanted to do for a long time and I am very happy with how it looks. Looks fanTASTIC driving at night. The sanding went something like this:
120 grit sponge to remove the diffusion paint and tint
300 grit to clean up the mess
400 grit to polish out the scratches in the plastic

The bulbs were something like $7/194 and $2/74, so about $35 on bulbs.

Hmmm...know what? I have more than he does as far as gauges goes. Know why? Probably not. I like to know what my motor is doing. Boost, oil pressure and fuel pressure are obvious. Water temp becuse the stock temp gauge blows and won't tell you your overheating until it's too late. Oil temp since I have/do/will road race on occasion and it's nice to know. EGT since I haven't picked up a WB A/F and would like to know if I'm leaning out. Not so gay of you ask me.

Secretive to me only means that 1) whatever it is really isn't that fast; 2) you don't own anything. That's the ricer mentality that I expect. I've got all mine up there to see. Nothing to hide. Make your own assumptions on that.
