heater core blew? i think
hey guys, today while drivng i noticed a coolant smell inside the car so i immediately stopped and noticed mist coming out of the vents and the passenger side (RHD) is leaking water.
I think the heater core is dead!!! is it a hard thing to replace
it was leaking inside the car but i noticed water outside the car too, dripping under, i just replaced the 2 lines that goes to the core so i dont think they are leaking.

if it is the heater core, have fun if you do it yourself. Dealer quoted $750 to do it. I done it my self for $100 but it took a good while. Pulling out the dash is a little hard but it isn't too bad. Just mark all the wires and screws and stuff so you know where to put the stuff back.

I know theres 2 heater hoses that go into the firewall.. do i just need to block these 2 off??
i only need it for about 20mins max to get it home.
