is it kind of like a grinding noise?

what kind of fluid did you change the trans and diff with?

is it your exhaust?

If you have the car up on jackstands, does it make the sound when you rev it or does the car need to be physically moving for the sound to occur?

No it does not make the noise on jacks. The car has to be moving the roar/whine gets louder at higher speeds

Thanks for the input guys I have search this site and have found nothing on this problem oh I just remember the last thing I did to the car before the noise started was that I change all four brake rotors. Do you think that would cause such a noise? The rotors were lable left and right would having them installed wrong make any difference?

Does the pitch of the roar correspond with the speed you're going or what your engine rpm is? Could be your rear diff going bad if the pitch matches your speed.
