Having trouble starting car, AFTER driving the car.
Hello everyone,
This problem recently began.
I took my car out of storage, and began using it regularly (as in driving it for 30 minutes a day, every few days).
This pattern is the same. I start the car, it runs, and then I park the car. After about 30minutes to 1 hour, I go and try and start the car, and it turns over and over, and finnally seems like its about to start, then dies. It takes me many tries to finally get it to start.
I do not see any white smoke coming from my exhaust (which would indicate seal issues/coolant leaking into engine). When the car is running/being driven, it runs great. Strong and exactly as it always has been.
The car has been in storage for 2 years. I had the spark plugs etc/tuneup done back then, but not this year.
Could these need to be replaced? Any recommendations on things to try first to eliminate this issue? Should I use fuel injector cleaners? would that cause a starting issue?
I am thinking to get all liquids replaced, and such, but wanted to see if anyone had an idea why this may be ocurring.
Thanks

I forgot to mention. I had my emissions done on the car. And the mechanic told me he adjusted my idle for it to pass.
I'm going yo call him and find out what that means, and if it could affect my starting..

It is funny, you are actually the person who tuned the car. Although we have never met!

Coolant seal problems will show themselves when the car is cold as well.
Could be a tuning issue with too much fuel under certain circumstances. I'd also check the coil packs, as they may be causing you problems once they are hot.
