According to reports, yes...

http://www.evil7.com/bigbrothermoviespage.html

1200 HP 3-rotor peripheral port drag car.

But a streetable 3-rotor with 900 HP sounds like one hell of a ride!

damn that $hit's dope!!!!
would you happen to know how reliable a peripheral port is compared to a bridgeport? i know streetports don't shorten engine life and bridgeports do. what about peripheral ports? and are they better or worse than bridgeports (as far as life goes, i know the power is more) thanks

I don't know first-hand, but this is what I have heard and read -- PP don't run well at low RPM (not very streetable). I think the stuff used to plug the side intake ports can get old and crack, too. I am not sure how they compare to bridge ports in terms of longevity.

Does it matter what class? Try team Siguel with their 3 rotor 1200 HP. 7.33 1/4 mile.

pp are longer lasting than bridgeports (IMO). i delivered pizzas in a 1st gen w/a pp in it. it was cool hearing what people had to say when you ring their doorbell and that things lopin' like mad in the driveway

More like 225 ft-lbs. You might want to check the graph again.

It looks like 33 or so on the graph at 4000 RPM, but I doubt if they were on the gas at that point, so I don't think it is particularly meaningful.

I agree. The torque is on the right side not the left!

i don't know if you guys saw it but in the magazine Street Power about 3 years ago there were 2 black FD's in this particular edition. One had white ssr integrals on it i believe (have a pic on my other comp). The other one was right hand drive w/ a 20b swap with 910 rwhp.

I read the graph wrong I guess... I mixed up the lines where they intersect.

I'm just waiting to see how Pete's car comes out. He's now running a twin T04S set up on his 13B. They are messing with a bridge port I heard so there is alot of trial and error going on with the tuning but it's gettin up there.
