I would love to buy one, but I'm deciding to save up and get a knight sports vmic, since it comes with a racing radiator, and all the mounts or what not. The HKS vmic is more for someone who is running a single. I dislike the battery position, and would rather not relocate. Relocating destroys bins!

Fast and the Furious really pisses me off. The director always says he wanted to capture the realism of street racing/drifting on film. None of the F&F's have come close to capturing what really happens on the street.

incase you guys are wondering. the idle was probably a mix of 10 different idles of cars.
most car sounds in films are inserted and mixed, not taken directly from the microphone.
justin lin took a failing franchise and turned it the right way, while keeping a mildly entertaining, easy to follow story. Its just a movie, if u guy swant realism go watch drift videos on you tube...geez.
everyones a critic nowadays

yea, of course. and americas the perfect place for it. its just funny how everyones complaining about a dirty engine bay. The car was used as a stunt car for the movie, I dont think anyone cared what the engine bay looked like as long as the car preformed fine. Their original intent was the crush the cars after the movie was made anyways.

It is very unrealistic to expect a movie production to build the car inside and out to a high degree of polish. The movie director and production company looks at the car as a prop, the same as they look at the interior sets they build. You don't actually believe the room that a scene is shot in is an actual room in an actual house do you? For the most part, they are shabby wood facades built to just look the part since after the movie they will be torn down and it's cost effective. The same goes for the car, they built it to look good on the outside so they can film it. Hell, its amazing enough that they even put any mods in the engine bay given they didn't film it.
