Guess my horsepower
I have my first dyno session next Monday at Dent Sport Garage in Norwood, MA. Just wanted to see who can come closest to guessing my horsepower.
My current mods according to previous owner:
3mm apex seals with "monster" streetport
Tranny Cryo Treated Gears with new bearings
Apexi RX6 Turbo
Apexi EWG
Custom LSE FMIC 3" piping
Racing Beat TBE
Cooling Mist Meth injection
AEM EMS
HKS EVC-S
Greddy Boost, EGT, and Oil Pressure Gauges
TiAl 50mm bov
HKS DLI ignition amp
Bosch 044 in tank Fuel Pump
Greddy Elbow
PWR radiator
Greddy P/h/m Linked gauges boost/oil pressure/water temp
AEM wideband
Blitz FATT turbo timer
rx7 store secondary rail with 1680cc injectors
1000 Primary injectors w/rails
Fuel pressure regulator
South Bend clutch, proven to hold 600+ lb/ft of tq)
Greddy Pulley kit
BR Racing Coilovers
Polished strut bar
K+N intake
I'm hoping for at least 400hp but I'd be happy with 380 or so.

How much boost do you plan on running? I see that you've got meth injection. If the motor is healthy and the turbo is up to snuff there's no reason you shouldn't crack 400 on that turbo setup. Depending on which RX6 spec it is, you can't expect to get much more than that out of it though.

Guessing your power output is useless without knowing how much boost you are running, and whether you are tuning up with AI....
I could say 380whp at 15psi, or I could say 450whp at 23psi.
Btw, the highest rated South Bend clutch is 415ft/lbs. Not sure who was making 600whp with that one.... Either way, you should be fine at your power level, even on the high side.

This is taken straight from their website:
In 2006, we noticed an increase in customers asking about ECU Tuning. We then decided to invest in the tools and knowledge necessary to provide top-notch tuning services. In 2007 the Dyno Dynamics® AWD Dynamometer arrived, a fully load-bearing dynomometer. This dyno is known for its ability to simulate realistic car-to-road dynamics, providing accurate numbers. (It is also known as “The Heartbreaker” since it’s horsepower numbers are a bit lower than the more simple inertial dynos).

Thanks i would love to get 420-450rwhp. Matter of fact i wish it still had the gt42r then i'd still have 535rwhp. Lol. Last i spoke to Chris he said something about a boosted ls. Whatever it is I'm sure it will be pretty badass.
