Greddy SMIC duct holes

On my Greddy SMIC, there are 2 bolt holes in the front to connect the sheet metal duct. I am not using their sheet metal duct, so I was trying to think of ways to plug theses holes. I'm also not sure if all of their SMIC's are like how mine is currently (maybe a previous owner drilled the holes through), but these 2 bolt holes go all the way through to the core. So if these are not plugged, they will serve as a nice boost leak.

The options I can think of:

1. Weld or JBweld. Would seal well, but would not look pretty. Would also be permanent.

2. Find a SS button-type bolt or set screw that would fit and use loc-tite on the threads. Should seal good enough for 14psi, but would also be removable in the future if I sell it. Does anyone know the thread size by chance?

Use some thread sealant and some allen head grub screws like this:

That should give you a clean look that is also reversible.

That's what I mean by "set screw".

My local hardware store only had those in M6 & M8. The M6 seemed to fit fine on one side, and on the other side pushed through into the core. I was able to get it out with a magnet, and the M8 wasn't going to fit at all. I'll find somewhere to order a M7 to see if that fits better. I hope the one side wasn't stripped out previously, maybe I need to try standard as a last resort. I was only thinking of getting a button cap to prevent it from falling in again.

Does anyone know what the thread sizes are supposed to be?

Make some L brackets out of aluminum, and use them to tie the IC to the duct. That is what they are there for.

You will plug the holes, and ensure a better seal between duct and IC.
