Greddy profec spec 2 not working
i just bought a 94 rx7 with everything done to it...the whole nine yards...i noticed that my boost controller isnt turning on..and then my apex turbo timer was working fine but 2 days ago stopped turning on...i followed all the wires from the boost controller to check if they were all connected correctly and they are..the red and black wires(power source)is connected to a bolt underneath the ecu(halteche6k)..i believe they did this to ground it..there is another wire connected to the same bolt that comes from the wires around the ecu..i think this where the power for the boost controller comes from..im not good with wires so i would like to know where i can hook it to inorder to see if the boost controller turns on..it must of at one point because everthing seems inorder...i also think my turbo timer is dead...any thoughts would be ever helpful..thanks guys

its kinda impossible to say at this point, what it could be, with the info you porvided. sound like something faulty in the wiring, i'd follow all the wiring and check your grounds again.
sound like your turbo timer isnt getting steady power since it worked fine one time and another its fine..
if you cant figure it out, an electronic specialist fixing it would prob only run you around $50-$100. might want to consider it before playing around with or around your ecu.

It seems that the previous owner did some cheesy wiring that you may want to entirely re-examine.
The red wire from the Profec needs to be connected to 12V IGN power in the steering column. I suppose you could find a similar source around the ECU, but the steering column is easiest. Testing for this line is easy -- it'll be powered up when your car is "ON" and also one of the ones powered when turned to "START" but not "ACCESSORY." Use a dummy tester light or a multimeter.
It also sounds like your turbo timer may be wired into the same 12V IGN source that the Profec is and that it's faulty and causing both of them to fail. It should also require a 12V constant, which it may not be getting. Turbo timers were cool 7 years ago, but they're fairly superfluous.
The black wire is always a ground and just needs to be bolted to the chassis or body.
