greddy profec b spec2 vs. blitz sbc-id

Im torn between these two boost controlers.
Greddy profec B spec 2 $315 or The Blitz SBC-id $510
Does anyone know what the difference between these two units or can they figure them out.Im no expert when it comes to this stuff.I just want a user friendly boost controller. For example I want to install it and then be able to set a **** to limit it to say 10 or 11 psi untill I can run higer boost.I want to be able to controll it from the cabin. Not manually.Do any of these units display the psi that it is limited to? I dont need some crazy abilities unless they are actually usefull and easy to use.Like what is gain and scramble boost? Hell if I know.I would really appreciate some kind of feedback as this will help me make a good and informed decision. The way I look at it why spend two hundred dollars more for something i dont need or wont be able to understand when I can use the two hundred dollars and pick up some more parts.

I have the Blitz and its fancier but more expensive. It was however pretty easy to setup and has more features than the GReddy. The Blitz will also handle more boost so eventually you might want that. Price is always a factor though.

The Greddy fizzles out around 18-20 psi,I beleive while the Blitz will handle 36psi. The Blitz has a few nice features like: Awesome screen with the remote, a very accurate boost gauge with peakhold/ playback functions, 4 different boost channels that can be adjusted on the fly, compatible with the PowerMeter which is somewhat like the Gtech and it will allow for even more precision tuning, the optional harness will allow for 4 seperate data inputs from the ECU including A/F ratios, injector duty cycle, water temp, etc...

Basically the Blitz has one of the best solenoids around and lots of features but its also not hard to setup like the AVCR or Profec EO1. The GReddy is also easy to setup but with less features and some have argued it might not be quite as precise as the Blitz but thats debateable. Basically it will come down to the features and price. You will be happy with either, I imagine.

wow.some very nice info indeed.thanx again black97.
Well I wasnt aware that the blitz comes with a remote? thats pretty cool and makes the profec less of a good buy since its 330 plus 115 for a remote. I just dont really need something super fancy as I wont be running in excess of 18 psi.But im glad instalation was easy.If I do go with the blitz ill be coming to you for help if you dont mind that is.
