Greddy Full Auto Timer

O.k, I need some help. I've just searched 10 pages of threads with no luck trying to find something on Greddy's turbo timers. Does anyone no where to connect the purple speed signal wire, onto the ecu, for the auto timer to function? Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

It's been a while since I have installed a greddy unit but if memory serves the speed sensor wire is an anti theft device. If it senses the car moving (by the speed sensor giving input) it shuts off the turbo timer. Just how when you connect the ground wire to the e-brake, the second you drop the e-brake the turbo timer shuts off. I don’t believe you need that wire plugged in for the turbo timer to function.

I will look up a couple of old PDF’s I have from Greddy to confirm.

Ok, do you know anything about the wire that connects to the ecu where you can use the timer to self-adjust automatically to your last driving stint and calculate automatically when to shut off? Thanks.

I believe your talking about the “speed mode” of the turbo timer. This is the same speed sensor wire the turbo timer uses to judge how fast you were going. So if you don’t hook this up the feature will not work, but its not that big of a deal because I believe you can set different timer modes that can have pre set times depending on how fast you drove.

Blitz does it on the dual turbo timer by bringing a vacuum into the turbo timer to see what boost you hit and the turbo timer will adjust the cool down time accordingly to how much boost you hit.
