My FD is a daily driver, might get a small amount of track time (twice a year).
Found the GREDDY FMIC Spec M on a site for 550. So I was thinking maybe It might be worth it.?? If I could find a M2 med.I would take that.

If your 'track time' is going to be 'road course time', I would suggest a large SMIC. There are several SMIC's that will fit the bill which you can find used:

M2/ASP Medium
Pettit Old Style Coolcharge II
PFS

How is that older Pettit IC?, The sharp bend on the outlet makes me look to the M2 or the newer Pettit IC. Found a SM-Blitz (new) 800.00 .

IMO, the older Coolcharge II is a better design than the new one. I chose the CCII old style over the PFS because I wasn't fond of the bends in the PFS piping:

Now, I would have rather gotten an ASP/M2 medium SMIC; however I ran across a deal for the Pettit CCII that I couldn't pass up. I did run the Blitz SMIC for several years and really liked it. IMO, its one of the better SMIC's to get but the core is not as large as some of the others. Here's an old shot of my engine bay with the Blitz SMIC:

I would go with what mahjik has said. I would get something bigger if you are talking about using the car for road corse events. Go with the cool charge or the m2/asp.

Ok, I will put out a post for a M2/ASP Or a Pettit Coolcharge 11 and see if I have any luck. Your pic with the CC11, is that a pettit duc? Does Cam sell the duc only?
Just asking in case I find a CC with no duc. Thanxs for your time.

Yes, that is the Pettit duct. I know Pettit sells 'a' duct separately, but I think its for their CCIII intercooler (which is similar to the M2/ASP Large IC). I would give them a call and ask them to see if their current CCII duct is available separately. Even then, I don't know how it would match up with the old style CCII.

I purchased one of the Greddy's you asked about and mounted it up this winter. Everything fit well and it looks good. I don't have any pics though, but it looks identical to any other greddy fmic. I fabricated a simple underplate to help with airflow to the radiator and temps look ok so far.
