Greddy FMIC install on '93 Touring?
I'll try again...
Has anyone installed one of these (2 row) on a '93 touring?
Did the condensor work with the supplied brackets?
What battery did you use?
Thanks,
Matt

Already used it, but didn't find any reference to problems with AC Condensor re-location.
The setup on a touring appears to be a little different for some reason.
Thanks,
Matt

I installed the FMIC on my Euro-spec FD, and NO... The supplied brackets did not fit.
The lower ones did, but it seems my condensers upper mounts isn't the same as in some other FD's I've seen pictures of.
I relocated my battery to the rear hatch by the way..

Thanks...
Its going to take a little more work than advertised, but I think it will all come together soon.
I'm going to try to get away with a Odyssey 680 battery in the stock location. If it doesn't work, I'll have to move it to the cabin.

My condenser worked with the provided brackets. Car is '93 touring IC is the 3-row.
I've got a 51R (civic) battery just resting on the cross brace & actually touching the AC compressor clutch & the radiator fan shroud. I really need to figure out a better way because this battery is a bit too big!

I'm going to try to pick up the 680 battery today, so I'll take some pics.
The condensor really has some pressure on it now. The drivers side is really tweeked, since it has all the lines on that side. It wants to sit at an angle. The top leans towards the front of the car about twice as much as the passenger side, so it looks twisted.

If your condenser is tweaked you need to unbolt the evaporator & hand bend the lines to relieve the tension. Make sure not to break the lines though since they are pretty soft Al. Nocabs how-to site hits on this topic.
Thanks for the only real install instructions Nocab.

Hey Matt, I have the Blitz FMIC and while in the installation process I broke the dam condenser ac lines lol! So I wasn't able to use the battery bracket that was included. You can get a battery holder from www.n-tech.net for about $80. It fits the Oddessey 680. Just watch out for those cold starts. It might not crank up. Goodluck.

The only place that had one in stock wanted $179 for it, so I ordered one for $105. I've seen them online for $85 + shipping, so its not outrageous. Guy told me it will be here Thursday or Friday.
I'll post pics as soon as I get it.

Time for an update.. I haven't spent much time on the car lately, so its just been up on stands.
I got the Odyssey 680 battery in and it looks like a motorcycle battery, which it is. No shock there... Fits nicely on the ledge, but I need to fabricate a bracket to secure it. Shouldn't be a big deal.
Trimmed the bumper reinforcement and it fits on nicely.
Intercooler bolted on relatively easily.
Front bumper took quite a bit of work with the dremel to fit. Not a total pain, but something you don't want to rush if you want it to look good when you are done.
The Pettit intake I have will obviously not fit. I have managed to make it work with a little effort. The angled filter can actually fit below the intercooler intake pipe. The other filter sits on top and off to the passenger side a bit. You can't use the Pettit coupler pipes with trimming them down to about 15% of the original length. I think I'm going to run one large intake run down behind the passenger side parking light. The same place the cooler is mounted on the drivers side.
There is no way my stock hood-prop will work with the kit. I have heard from others that say it works fine, but mines note even close. The outlet of the IC sits too high to allow it to work.
I've got quite a few datalogit runs recorded, so I should be able to give a solid performance evaluation after I get the battery secured and take it out for a few runs.
One last thing... It's obvious the core is going to take a beating in the grill. I'm not sure how long it will look as pretty as it does in the garage.
