how about a light weight aluminum under tray?? The materials would cheap. Alot of people probably want an undertray that is more durable and probably quite a bit cheaper than new OEM one. I know I'd buy it! Would be easy to alter to fit just about any aftermarket front end....

But, the only way to get that design is if you have it in front of you which would either require you buying it first or doing a group buy where the deposit money goes to buying the set that you want to blueprint. Then you would need a tester car and to get one of those, you will probably need to offer the product free and free instal because the cooling system is pretty vital. You would need to set up sensors on the intake pipe and exit pipes of both the intercooler and radiator to actually show the effectiveness. I think it would be a great idea to get a custom fab shop but it will probably be best to start off with downpipes, midpipes, manifolds, and braces.
It would be impossible to build and sell and full V mount set up for $1000. That wouldnt but just barely cover the radiator and IC core. Then you have the endtanks, IC pipes, couplers, clamps, mounting hardware, labor to put it all together, and design time. I think $1750 would be a good price for a nice V mount, afterall it does come with a radiator. A M2 med and radiator cost $1900-$2000 depending on radiator you get + shipping.

Well, if he could make one using existing aftermarket radiators and cores, then we would be in business. Alot of people already have atleast a koyo or fluidyne and possibly an IC and instead of having to sell those off, it woudl be great to have a kit for them, even if its just reusing the radiator.

By the time you pay to shipping to him to convert your radiator then he adds in $ to cover the labor for converting it....you might as well just sell yours for $300 and put that toward the kit.
But even at that this set up is always going to be more expensive than a FMIC

It wouldn't work well that way at all, he would need to design a setup for each different type of radiator and IC set up then. I make V-mount setups all the time it is not just slap the two together and mount with different brackets.
