tranny and diff braces...and sell them cheap...cause if you got the steel and a mig it takes about 10 minutes to make one..which doesnt make any sense why they cost 150 bucks...

aluminum brake, radiator, and intake ducts that use all of the available fresh air from the nose w/o wasted blow-by.

The usual diff, tranny, engine, and sub-frame braces are a good idea, also. If these were a little cheaper, I think alot more of the forum membership would jump on them.

Try measuring, cutting, bending, drilling, and welding the pieces yourself and let me know if it takes 10 minutes from start to finish. Then let me know how long it took you to R&D the design and get all the dimensions right in the first place.

I love armchair engineers who decide how much they think something should cost based on their perception of how many pieces or welds it has but obviously don't have the first clue about what it would actually take to fabricate one...

how about a set of intake pipes, cheaper intercooler, and an airbox like the M2... all those things are mostly waaaaay too overpriced.

haha your in the wrong forum for selling stuff, if you wanna make custom stuff and make a profit, look towards the vette/porsche forums. its gonna be hard to find people to actually pay for stuff you make

Your best option is going to be to contact of the RX-7 shops that sell parts and talk to them. You could talk to them, and get an idea what the actual demand is. They would be a source of the part you could then template off of.

Another way, lets say for the single turbo manifold, is to find someone with one with a dead engine, and arrange to borrow the part.

For something like the PPF(Power Plant Frame) find a junkyard with a trashed 7, get the old one, and figure out how to make a stronger version.

If you could do a good set up for a v-mount intercooler, you would be golden on this board. They are $2000+ from the shops, if you could do it for half, you would have everyone and their mom comming to you. But, the only way to get that design is if you have it in front of you which would either require you buying it first or doing a group buy where the deposit money goes to buying the set that you want to blueprint. Then you would need a tester car and to get one of those, you will probably need to offer the product free and free instal because the cooling system is pretty vital. You would need to set up sensors on the intake pipe and exit pipes of both the intercooler and radiator to actually show the effectiveness. I think it would be a great idea to get a custom fab shop but it will probably be best to start off with downpipes, midpipes, manifolds, and braces.

intercoolers are so expensive because only a handful of people in the world make the bar and plate cores.

I would doubt that you will ever find any cheaper intercooler than the greddy 2 row.

Make a replacement engine cradle that is stiffer, lighter and has a hole large enough to remove the oil pan without unbolting the motor mounts and raising the engine.

lighter engine cradle, stiffer too. I gotta say the stock one is pretty darn stiff and pretty light. Having taken it out before and looking at all that goes into it. Id say it's fine teh way it is

If you can't see why they cost $150 bucks it says alot about how much experience you have.
