i just want to spread some good news (i hope). i could be wrong though, so please dont hurt me if im wrong!

i just read in a magazine that mazda is coming out with a special edition miata in two colors: some type of cym-type yellow, and titanium grey metallic!

the spirit r's gunmetal color is called the same thing on mazda japan's site i believe, so the paint code should be available when the miata comes out. also, us here in the states can get a chance to see the way the paint color looks in person instead of in pictures. maybe not all of us though, they are only making 1000 yellows and 1500 titanium greys. knock on wood!

 

Im going to call Mazda soon. I think their last day of golden week, was monday. So im going to try today, and maybe I can get it for you tonight....

 

I missed the phone call, I couldnt get off till late tonight, and they are already closed. TOMMORROW for sure I will find out.....

Hey, can someone post that paint color code for everyone to see? Why is it such a secret? I need a paintjob, and that color is dope. I'm already silver, so this would be a perfect transitional color for me.

 

I have seen both of the new colors on the Miata's, and they both look great. The Mazda dealer here in Dallas has them both in the showroom, so I've seen them a few times while picking up some parts. The silver/grey looks sweet, and will look even better on the curves of a 7. The new Yellow is a little brighter than the CYM, and you have probably seen it on the new Protege commercials. It looks good, but I like the silver/grey much better

 

Next time you're there, open a door and get the paint code off the sticker. I'm sure alot of people here will appreciate it.

yep 25g and 26S is right.
4 in the morning and my mind wasn't in the right place. I thought he was the only one looking for it, so I take it as an opportunity to talk to someone, since candid conversation isnt cool on posts.

To tell you the truth Ryan, I havent even seen one yet, Mazda said they are special order, and sense there are only going to be 1500 of them, I hope I get to see one in person, the day I do I will make sure I get some pictures...
