good idel but the pressure show unstable
Hi everybody!
my FD still no recover, after the Dyno test. i'm try to test the compression test the result show 8.2-8.0-8.0 is o.k.?
i'm try to change the plugs and turbo gasket only the idel show stable. but the presssure meter still show
"-0.5 to -0.7" very untable and i'm hear the sound same "knock knock........." the power FC show the pressure is -0.21 to -0.29. i'm try to drive the car but the boost up very slowly and only to go to 0.7 bar.
(before 0.85).
please help me ! i'm very upset in this time.

is the compression the same in both housings? 8.0 kgf/cm2 is good compression. sounds like maybe a vacuum/boost leak somewhere. can you duplicate the "knock knock" sound by revving in neutral? if so get someone to look under the hood while you rev it to see where the sound is coming from. something could be loose. just my 2cents
good luck

I remember from my piston days that exhaust leaks tended to sound like a metal ticking sound at each exhaust pulse. An exhaust leak wold contribute to slow spool up as well. Can't think why that would screw up the vacuum signal though...
